Hi guys i have a skoda fabia mk2 with the flashing glow plug error. A vcds scan shows 16955- brake light switch implausible signal.

All three brake lights work as they should. I have replaced the switch twice both with oem and still the same.

I have also replaced the brake light bulbs and triple checked all the fuses.

Live data shows the brake light switch is giving the correct signal when pressed.

After all the above the error is still there and will not clear.

Really stumped on this one. Any ideas guys?

    Solved
For anybody interested, this problem turned out to be broken wires (red with black tracer) under the front wiper motor.
