    I went to change the pads on my golf and the sensor was like this what can I do thanks

    Electrically the two wires you see should be joined. This of course means your pad wear will no longer be monitored.

    So cut the end off and twist the two wires together?

    Pretty much.
    You'll want to clean, solder & heat shrink to insulate.
