So I'm contemplating reducing the wheels to 18". Don't entirely like the s line suspension and 20" wheels combo.
I would like to keep oem look and considering rs6c 18" replica wheels. Anyone has any experience with replicas?
I suspect that ride should improve since profile will increase from 35 to 45

Roads around me is quite crap so went with 19s with sline suspension. Even the going from 19s to 18s winter I noticed it's quieter and softer. Mpg is better with the 18s as well.

I go from 20 to 18's in the winter with winter tyres. Much smoother ride, and mpg better, presume from narrower tyre, but the 20's look so much better, and as most of my driving is motorway, ride is not so bad.

Yes, the motorway driving is actually not that bad but I may put 18 anyway. I'm also looking at Dunlop sport maxx rt 2 tyres as a part of that. Reviews are good and they seem to provide good ride comfort.

I also went from 20" to 18" in winter. Had Conti's in winter and Michelins in summer. The Michelins are many times better than the crappy Pirelli's....my current S6 with 21" came with Conti tires from factory so better than the Pirelli's but not a patch on the Michelins!

Any thoughts on Goodyear F1 asymmetric 3 ? Maybe I would try different tyres on my 20". I know for fact that feeling on the steering wheel became softer when I put Pirelli on the back and kumho on the front. Dealer reversed it again.

I've only got the ultra so the Pirelli's do fine as it's not got enough power to get into trouble. I'd be hard pushed to put anything apart from Pilot Supersport on a performance car though. Put a set of Kuhmo on my 370z and nearly totalled it twice in a week in the wet .

I had kumho tyres on my remapped a4 quattro. Running about 255bhp.
    Never had an issue.

As per my original post I said performance car, as nice as a mapped A4 Quattro is I wouldn't put it in that bracket. The 370 had 366bhp and was RWD which makes it a bit more demanding especially in the wet.

Wasn't comparing cars....just defending kumho tyres a bit.

Clearly 360+bhp is a different league from 255bhp....but I'd imagine my a4 is closer in performance to the op car than your rwd 366bhp Nissan
