Audi Connect Subscription

I have an Audi A3 on order with the Tech Pack which comes with a 36 month subscription to Audi Connect. Looking at the brochure it is not clear what is included. Do some features (wi-fi hotspot for example) cost extra? If so how much and is it worth it?

You will get access to a range of Audi connect services and live traffic info. Probably also Google maps including streetview. That's pretty standard. The exact range of services your A3 will be able to access is listed somewhere on the Audi web site.
I'll note at this stage that it seems no two Audi models have an identical list of supplied services. In my own Q3 I pay for my own SIM card so I can enable the wifi hotspot if I choose to do so (I don't) as I have no need to keep kids entertained. Again worth noting that had I bought my Q3 a month later I'd have had an embedded SIM and free Audi Connect.
The data usage for Google Maps and live traffic is tiny costing less than a £ per month. I use less than 5Mb of data per month.
