    tempted to remove the restrictive rear silencers on my 2.5tdi allroad and replace with straight pipes - anyone done this? Dont mind it being a bit noisier but dont want to loose torque / spoil fuel economy??? - thoughts anyone?

    How could you loose torque and mpg by reducing back pressure !

    Release some V6 sound , go for it .

    sure i heard somewhere straight pipes great for max power but you need a silencer for back pressure - whatever that is?!

    - totally agree like the idea of a better v6 sound...
