    Hi there,

For those cabriolet owners you know the situation, your lowering the roof in traffic for example or raising it, but then the lights change and you need to drive, however the roof will automatically stop as a safety feature in what ever position its in.
You can crawl very slowly, but not more than about 3mph, is there a trick to bi-pass this feature? I know the roof stops to protect the mechanism from damage, however most convertibles allow you to move at least up to around 20mph before stopping?

I got a Smart Hood for my wife's Alfa Spider, you can programme the v max speed to allow hood operations up to 13mph I think? It may help

Yes, you choose box to suit your vehicle and you get the leads to fit it in line with hood control. Plug n play, you can configure settings too for your operating speeds

Vag pro also do a gadget to allow roof opening up to 30 mph. Also do a remote control opener using your key fob.

As an addition to my previous post, Smart Hood also works from Key fob.

    I fitted one of these

    mods4cars Online Shop

You can program it to raise or lower the roof up to 30mph. Flash the indicators whilst doing it, raise and lower all the windows and all controllable from the remote.
Its a simple plug and plug unit with the settings easily changed by plugging the unit in a pc via USB
