2001 2L petrol Alhambra, I picked this up very cheap as spares or repair it is unusual as it is also converted to run on LPG. It won't keep running as the immobilizer is locked it came with a single 'new' looking key marked HU66TE it is Italian.It has a small red plastic panel on one edge. It has a chip in it. I don't want to spend much on the car as I may end up breaking it - it's pretty tatty! Ebay has Emulators or bypass tools to defeat the immobilizer do they work has anybody used one? Some plug in the code reader socket some are bare circuit boards.
The engine sounds fine & has had all the belts & water pump, tensioner replaced. I got a few codes most relate to poor main earthing of the engine I can fix that. Any thoughts?
