Hi, have got a p242 dpf blocked code and was wondering what measuring block numbers show dpf values and sensor pressures etc.

    Many thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I have looked there and there doesn't seem to be a great deal on the subject.

Looking for the measuring blocks that show dpf pressures for and aft and soot and ash load.

    Many thanks.

Just to update this thread in case it helps other 2.7 owners

It turned out that the soot level had risen above the threshold (See measuring blocks 107 for thresholds) once this has been exceeded (you can view ash and soot levels in MB 104) then a forced regen is needed (01 engine coding 11 and enter 10016 as a code) View measuring blocks 100, 101, 102, 104 to see what is going on. The process lasts about 40 mins and temperatures in the exhaust reach nearly 700 deg c !! This worked for me so hope it helps fellow 2.7 owners. BTW oil ash Max level for the BPP engine is 0.46 mine was only 0.24 so is fine.
