Thanks. I have had it hard wired with bypass relays. Utterly unbelievable that there is no rear loom to plug into, my mate's Land Rover Disco1 (1998) had that FFS! Come on AUDI, you're better than this!
Actually on the parking sensors subject...... I have front and rear, but I get loads of beeps at startup and neither end seem to be working. Is this worth investigating, or are they probably fubar?

Probably one sensor is unresponsive, could be a dead sensor or a cabling issue. It happened to me once, I broke one of the wires and I had to repair it. PM me if you need a piece of my old harness.

That's kind of you thanks. I am not really sure where to start. Do you take the bumper off or can you check the wires without doing that?
Any idea how to check for a dead sensor?
    Thanks again

VCDS would help you identifying the faulty sensor, it's the best option.

Is that the diagnostics software? I don't have anything like that and don't think my mechanic has either. I wonder if I could get it plugged in somewhere for a fault read. Thanks
