Cvt oil specification for b8

Hello

I am looking to change the cvt oil in my 2011 1.8tfsi multitronic. My local Audi dealer has given me the correct oil specification as G052516A2 the only problem is that they want $55/ltr. I have checked my local market for an aftermarket option but they all come in G052180 specification which I guess is the previous version and what was replaced by the one I mentioned before.

Has anyone used the previous spec oil in their B8 cvt without any trouble? I am able to get the Febi cvt oil in the previous spec for around $10/ltr which is more than 5 times cheaper than the original Audi oil.

Any suggestions?

Has anybody used the Liqui moly 1400 atp fluid I read it is compatible with the cvt engine
