hi, i am wanting to replace the front break discs and pads as they squeel terribly when breaking (mechanic put some grease on but noise came back).
when i put my car reg in euro car parts how do i know which size break discs to get as it gives me different option diameter sizes?

i have a mk6 2.0 gt tdi with vancouver alloys

Also does the car need dot4 or 5.1 break fluid and how many litres would be enough?

Why don't you price them from your dealer .. my local VW dealer came in less for discs and pads all round on my A3 than any local independent motor factor as they do for all other servicing parts.
