DRL Settings

Hi all,

Recent convert to this side of the forum from the B6 page - the newer Passat, a 2.0TDI Blue Motion, Highline, manual is far and away a better motor than my previous 2.TDI DSG Highline. Had it about 2 months and really pleased with it so far. Power and MPG is amazing in comparison.

My question is about daytime running lights: I'm planning to upgrade the bulbs in time, something like night beaters for the head lamps and LED's in the DRLs. I wondered if the DRL settings can be changed in anyway? I'd like to run them in conjunction with sides/heads whereas now they only run on their own. Head lights come on / DRLs go off. DRLs are fogs on my car, low bumper mounted std filament bulbs

This is purely an aesthetic thing, DRLs are about being seen, not seeing and I don't expect much improved night vision. I do however think running the fogs and headlights together when both are nice and white looks very fetching

Anyone tried/managed to do this? I do have full Ross-Tech software and genuine cable due to all the bloody issues with the B6!
