Effing furious

So, I've had my car 4 days.
Today some t"*ser in a Mercedes almost hits me when he decided he's got right of way even though the cars are parked on his side of the road and the only way through is to come straight at me, forcing me up the kerb with the inevitable result.
2 kerbed alloys and a chunk out of the sidewall of a 20" Pirelli P Zero.
Did he stop? Did he hell.
Just sent off for quotes from all the diamond cut alloy wheel repairers I can find, I reckon I'm looking at least at £90 a wheel to have them repaired and probably a new £160 tyre as well FFS....20170625_211118.jpg20170625_211139.jpgAbsolutely livid.

I have one. I've had the car 4 days. I haven't fitted it yet. I know it's a shame.

Tyres don't need replaced do they? I done a similar thing leaving a car park the other day to my 17 plate, it has done 8k miles so far so don't quite feel your pain but the first one is always a killer.

There's plenty of ar$e holes on the road.
Not trying to rub salt on the wound but I've seen a few place that does diamond cutting and they can't quite replicate that factory finish and make sure they coat(lacquer) the wheel after cutting as the salt on our roads would corrode that quickly in 1 winter so pick a good reputable wheel refurb company.

I've just washed the car so thought I'd take a good look at the tyres. The one is missing it's kerbing strip for about 3" and the other is fine.
They both will need refurbishment and I've been in contact with a few diamond cut refinishers. I'm looking at about £100 a wheel if it's a simple job, £135 if they need more work.
Still annoyed but time is a great healer.

I always think of this way. Would I be more annoyed about it if it was the other half that kerbed the wheels
