Also have a quick look at AutoeBid but I don't know if anyone whose bought through them.

If you can get the best broker price and see if your local dealers can match it or even just get might close to it
That's what I did with my first Q7 Nemo then emailed dealers as I knew I had some thing to fall back on and nothing to loose

If you can then get very close from a dealer I'd go with that

I'm sure a dealer will be a close match even if you pay an extra £1,000
At a main dealer I'd go with that

Thanks guys. I checked broadspeed and once all options are added they are £1k more expensive than DtD. Yes DtD put you in touch with an Audi dealer. I will also pass on the details to dealers around me to see if they can match or come close.

    Once you have a price

    Then just email the dealers

If you bring up the dealers website where you want to contact
On that page it says meet the team

Then email the sales manager tell him the deal
Then ask if he can match it or better it
This way it's better as it's the sales manager who know what discount they can give

Also most dealers already have Q7 on order but not a sign to anyone

This way they can amend the order and change the speck to your choice this will cut the 4 month wait to maybe 2 months

My SQ7 was a 6 month wait but I did the above and order mine mid Feb and took delivery mid April

Also remember if you go with a main dealer not sure if it's just on finance and PCP but you also can get a £1750 Audi deposit contribution on top of any discount

Thats great advice Max thanks. The Audi contribution has been factored in on all my deals (PCP). I will start sending emails tonight and tomorrow.

I emailed every dealer with in a 300 miles radius as once it's picked up
You can just go local with your repair

If you choose a service pack mid this has to be done and sig buy the dearer you brought from and have to be sign up before you drive away with your new car

Just do 2 or 3 quotes to start with then you know what you can say to the next dealer
This way the next should get bit less and so on
Take a lot of work but really is worth it in the long run

I even found that say a curtain dealer had 4 different dealerships with in the group
Each one of them 4 dealerships came back with a different price even though they was from the same group never understand that one

Yup funnily enough the deal was off with my local dealer as they just 'couldn't' get anywhere near to price I was after - so I walked away, made a few calls and picked the same group but 150miles or so away who came back with better PX and better price on the Q7.

I would've bought from them but decided to give my local guys one final chance with a this is deal on table - can you match it, if not I'm paying deposit later...within 5 minutes 'can you come down today?' Phone call...

Deal matched and for messing about I think £500 better on PX

Try autoebid - ask for Ros. She beat any deal I found online anywhere. Their online price doesn't always come out the best, but see when she can do. I can't remember now but it was a good £500+ without really trying.

Ok,so I made another spec change . I added the sound and comfort pack. As I already had Bose and the electric luggage cover, adding this pack gave me both of these options plus advanced key and reversing camera (not sure this makes a diff as I have parking pack with surround). For only £445 extra, it was a no brainer! I read quite a lot of favorable comments on the key so really pleased with this.

I have build week of 33 and really excitied now. Hopefully there will be no more changes fingers crossed.

Finally is is there a way to edit the title of this thread?

Good move! When I saw your post I did think the pack with Adv key might be a better option. Great spec, not much you'll be missing. Pan roof was a first for me and really like it (even with the MY16 rattle issues I've had).
