I just noticed that if I push the button to open a window fully and then, once it's open i.e. down, push the button 3 more times the window drops slightly more from what I thought was the already fully open position. It happens on all windows.

Anyone know what that is all about?

Wonder if it's some service position to be able to change the trims, glass etc.?

I couldn't resist, mine is the same. Could be related to resetting the controller? This is one for the 4M Finds thread.

I've just taken my car in for a few little warranty issues and this was one thing I mentioned. The service guy that I showed the issue to said that they all do this because if the window is fully down then the bottom is out of the runners and can rattle when driving over bumps. By stopping early it stops this happening. Pushing the button again is like an override.

Not sure how true this is or if I was just being palmed off. I find the front passenger window stops higher than the driver's side.
