Can you tell me which of these CV boots I need? Meyle: 100 495 0019 or Meyle: 100 495 0007.

For the front passenger side of a 2003 Passat estate 130 PD. 1.9TDI. DA52OYW

CV Boot or CV joint? Once the boot goes, the CV joint knackers pretty soon after - I'm pretty sure these cars are infamous for eating through CV Joints. I'd buy the CV Joints from J and R CV joints on ebay - approx. £15 each and includes the boots and grease etc. Spot on fitting. Just make sure you order the right transmission one as auto/manual are different.

    Hi Riknos,

Thanks for your reply. The boot is only leaking a tiny amount of grease so I don't think any dirt will have gotten in to destroy the joint. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll keep them in mind when a joint does go.

I crawled under and think I've ordered the right boot now.

    Cheers
    Mike
