Just noticed a cool feature

When you hit the voice control button on the steering the air con turns down so it can hear you.
Only noticed it in this heat we are having as air con is on fast speed setting and as soon as you press the voice button the air con turns down till the voice control is over.
Wiuld have thought after 3 of these I would have picked this up😄

For real? I was driving today and wanted to answer a text message over voice control but I said to myself it will not work. It will not recognize my voice clearly with the air con turned on so hard need to test this tomorrow

Also drops the air con when you select reverse or turn on the parking sensors manually so you can hear the audible beeps 😁

The AC down on reverse is purposed to avoid exhaust smell when backing, it is said somewhere in SSP or so.
Parking aid beep causing entertainment vol down is another function.

I noticed this within days of having my car as it was something I found so annoying on my BMW that I had previously i.e. Cold or warm weather rendered voice control useless as the air con or defrost was making such a racket. Great feature in a great car. I also particularly like the adjustable tone on parking sensors so that you can set your own distance.
