Audi a4 B7 2.0L tdi info on rear spring

so it looks like the spring on my wifes car drivers side rear has snapped after checking it earlier on today, think it happened over weekend, and was just before i bought another, i was wondering if the rear springs are the same from the B6 OR other audi 14 models/years that are similar if anyone could tell me? just i know someone with a load of older cars that are all sitting and thought was maybe worth finding out was all?

Some of them are,it depends whether they are saloon/avant/s line/sport suspension etc,your best bet is to get underneath clean off the crap and look for the colour codes,there will be a series of dashes near the bottom of the spring then look for a replacement on e bay etc,obviously text book procedure is replace in pairs but if you get a decent used one it should be fine.
