Hi, taken delivery of Q7 line 272, daytona grey, loaded with all tech packs, air suspension, parking etc. Really pleased with car but every time the car shuts down it comes up with the following note:

"audi connect can currently be accessed remotely. You can find out more information in owners manual or Audi connect menu"

The one thing I can't find is how to stop this annoying message come up every time I turn the car off. Has anyone experienced this? its a niggly thing but annoying!!!

Hi there have to say I've never come across this but I'm guessing it's something to do with the embedded sim and remote functions available about checking if cars locked etc?

However I could be very very wrong

    Hi
Yes Nemo your right on the money
It's to do with the embedded sim as such
The message is just saying although the car is switched off you can still access the car via the mmi app
This message wasn't on the MY15 and MY16 as you couldn't use the mmi app to lock/unlock the doors etc as when the cars mmi shut down you lost connection
Not sure you can get rid of it I don't take no notice as when it pops up I'm on me way out the door of the car

The first few times when you first have the car it's helpful but after that there is no point

Would take a guess a to being a coding thing to remove it
Can't say I've seen anything in the menu

How much annoying it could be??
I get every time but I take it part of the shutdown process. These days: it's a computer, which can carry people as well ignore!!
