New to Q

Hi , new user who hopefully has their new SQ7 going into build this week. Really looking forward to getting it and we'll mostly be using it as a general family car plus towing the horsebox. Only our second Audi and certainly impressed with them over the BMW's we've had and better dealer service than the Land Rovers too! Will absorb the info on here before I ask any daft questions

Most stuff relates to Q7 and SQ7

Roughly it takes 5 days to build then can sit in QC for around 5-7 days

To give you a rough idea if all goes well and you catch the train and boat rather than just miss one
The time scale is around 4-6 weeks to dealer but can take 2 months so you should have it all being well mid to end of July (don't hold me to that though)

I had a new SQ7 Build mid march and I collected it 27Th may
But mine sat at uk dock near 2 weeks due to the long Easter weekend
And waiting for transport also this was a very busy time and a back log due to people trying to beat the new April tax laws

Feel free to ask anything I'll try answer or the others will soon jump in and answer
We are a friendly bunch on here

Hi Max and thanks, yes there will be a few questions coming, I suspect mostly on the neat looking towing arrangement. Meanwhile I'm in mourning over agreeing to change out of our C7 RS6 for the sake of some burgers on legs ( I'm kidding of course just in case anyone else has a horse, they're lovely, not money pits at all).

And yes I'm ignoring the tracker...

The RS6 is an awesome car and probably the only family car I'd consider alongside the SQ7 - was really wanting one but the wife said no, so we "compromised" on the SQ7 and I was not disappointed, what a machine. Came from a BMW X5 and the difference is like night and day. Please fire away with any questions.

Hi, spec is;

Sepang ,sport seat plus,atlas sono inlay,trailer pack,black pack,ambient light , tech pack (think that's renamed) flat bottom wheel,pan roof, 22" wheels, fr and rr heated seats,elec adj seats n mirrors, Bose.

RS6 was(is) wonderful car , not the most delicate car handling wise and punishes the brakes but forgave it any shortcomings when you opened it up. Only downside....everything , I mean everything, wants to chase you down.

That's great news and it will soon pass You will see and may be bit quicker

Please once you get your sq7 please let me know if the 2018 model has plastic or alloy foot rest as up until now it's been plastic
