    Hi all

I attempted to do the droplinks on my A4 earlier but came stuck.
I jacked up the car and removed the front wheel, squirted some wd-40 on the nuts and left it for a while.

The bottom bolt came off quite easy by applying some force, the problem nut is the top one front one.i managed the turn the bolt head from the back (I think it was a size 16). The nut at the front seems to be made of soft metal and was breaking up and spinning (Size 13 fits And size 12 is too small). I tried to loosen the nut and bolt by spinning the size 16 while grippng the size 13 but the 13 is spinning.

The 13 seems like it has a hex shape which. Can use to,hold t but can't get anythng into it due to the suspension upright getting in the way.

Shall I put some grips to the size 13 or will it just destroy the nut.

    thanks in advance

Thanks for the advice, I put some mole grips on it and managed to get the passenger side off. The drivers side came off ok with a size 13 spanner.

Took me 1 hour to do both sides
