2.0 TDI Sport Touran - Difficulty Starting

Hoping someone can help. Car runs as normal, but when I start the car, the engine turns over, but instead the instant firing / starting that I'm used to, there is a delay of about two seconds and then it starts and runs without an issue.

I am concerned that I'll be out and about and come back to a car that doesn't start at all. Not sure if it is getting worse... also don't want to do any damage by over trying to start.. Hope this makes sense.....

Any advice or diagnosis, would be very much appreciated...

You need to have the cranking RPM checked using the live data display of a diagnostic computer, it must reach a minimum of 280rpm.
