Removable Tuning Chip

Any updates, did you take the plunge on one yet?

I was looking at a tuning box too rather than a remap as im not sure how long im going to keep the car, at least i can take off the tuning box and sell it on.

I did take the plunge actually. Dealing with Chip Express was very easy and the box arrived within a day. Fitting was a bit of a pain as my clip was broken and could not get the cap off. Bit of wrestling and it was sorted. Have been running it for about 1 -2 weeks now, and i have to say as a non professional opinion the car is definitely more responsive on pick up, and acceleration. Much smoother and quieter. Also the MPG on same runs as Pre chip up to 56mpgs rather than 46mpg approx. But i note that this may be a little false from others comments. Overall, very pleased and glad i took a chance.

Don't think so. Had a good chat with the guys there, and thought i would take a chance. Very pleased i did, car feel very different, more responsive, quieter, and much quicker on pick up. I have the 200BHP model, so guess the smaller engine reacts better to a bit of tuning, over some of the higher spec engines.
