After you tell it, than it will start the download.
Will try that later as IE had the same story, I know chrome have dropped java support (Napi Plugin) for a while now so thought that too..

Will double click the files to see what happens..

Once you've downloaded the jnpl file, the browser shouldn't come into play but the version of java installed would do.

I run mine from a Mac with the latest java installed.

Hi Fella, thanks , that's right double clicking wasn't invoking the java applet on one pc so tried another..

    Works now

    Thanks works.jpg

The FULL one is appx 13.gb

I take it just follow the instructions on in the AUDI once on the SD card? does it need to be on the ROOT folder or anything?

    Thanks again Rgds

Hi mate, yes the folders / files that it extracts should go in the root of the SD card. Probably needs to be blank or at least have nothing left on it from any speedcam / spoi uploads at least.

Then just follow the system update menus and it should do its thing!

Hi, worked a treat via SD Card for me today, and the poster who wonders about the Coral Reef roundabout update can now be happy that the map now correctly displays the new road design.

I noticed that England South seemed to be available for online download today too if it helps anyone.........

    Hi,

New user, so first post! I also had hassle on downloading on a windows PC as Windows 10 and the Edge browser was giving me hassle. Worked fine on the Mac. I downloaded the full 13Gb upgrade as my car already had all of Europe installed and the on-line update only wanted to give my immediate region and not the whole UK.

As long as you drop the files in the root of the SD card it works well and took about 30 minutes to update in the car.

    Cheers,
    JonnJ

Glad you got it sorted. I think Microsoft dropped support for Java in Edge.

Yup, along with other plugins - IE11 should still work if you're not a chrome user though.
