About to buy...........

I'm going to look at a 2014 A6 3.0tdi Quattro S Line on Monday.
I'm no mechanic but are there any particular issues I need to look or listen for?
I've also never driven an auto before so it'll be a whole new experience for me!

It's in a main Audi Dealer (approved used) and has only 23k miles so I'm not expecting to find anything but if there are any pointers you could give me I'd appreciate it

I suppose my thoughts are that if it's a main dealer and you are getting a main dealer approved warranty that you don't really need to be a mechanic and just go with your gut feel after driving it as to whether everything seems fine?

Hi, these are pretty bombproof, listen for any rattles, not that there should be any, check under the oil filler cap for mousse make sure it's been dealer serviced and that's about it.

And push for a decent warranty. If it's 2014 then it's either out of the standard 3 year warranty (2 years from Audi GmbH and one year from Audi UK) or it's pretty close. I'd be asking for 12 months warranty and / or a good deal on extending for another 3 years.

Car purchased!!
Super smooth, really quiet and very quick.
Comes with audi 12month warranty which includes breakdown cover etc....seems pretty comprehensive.
