Oil Change

What oil do you guys use in your 3L V6 TDI engines? I doing full service on mine at weekend and was going to use Mobil Engine Oil ( 1 ESP Engine Oil - 5W-30 - 5ltr ) as its on special at eurocarpart this weekend at £85 for 10L. I have been using the Petronas in vw for last few years and its been ok. Also does anyone have link or list of what Audi change and do at every service? I'm doing everything as this is first one I will do and car has been looked after by Porsche specialist before I got it and not sure what has and has not been done.

Just make sure its min 507.00 spec as not all 5w-30 are. Try your local TPS as well. Fuchs is currently supplying oil to TPS and possibly dealers too.
Your service book should have a list of items that need changing at at what mileage. You may have a check list also from a previous service of what they visually look at and charge for ie topping up washer fluid

WWill that was easiest service I have ever done on car. Finding diesel filter was difficult but will get done today. When setting oil level do you just keep topping up bit by bit until the guage says full?
