    Hi,

is there a visible mark or a sign near where the rear side airbags (not curtain) are located? I have tried to located it in a car (Q7 2017) which had it specified as an installed option, but I couldn't find it. The front side airbags were easy identifiable as there was an "airbag" sign on the plastic trim of the front seats. Should the rear side airbags be in the same location on the rear seats if installed?

Is there a sign or an airbag marker of some sort indicating the exact location?

In the offical specification it reads: "Driver and passenger airbags, side airbags front and rear, and curtain airbag system" indicating that the rear side airbags are standard, however in the options of the specific car I only found the following "4X4 Side airbag in front and rear with curtain airbag" which does't include the rear side airbags.

It is so frustrating that often Audi dealers provided misleading information and know very little about the cars they sell.
    It looks like this:

The picture which I enclosed on my previous post is from SQ8. Due to the safety reasons the airbags are always clearly marked, so if the car is equipped in rear airbags you will easily find them. I had previously Q7 4M and I remember the rear airbags in this car are located in the sides of the rear seat backrest as on enclosed below diagram of Q7 4M. In Q8 the rear airbags are located in C pillars.

After checking it again, the airbags were indeed installed in the car. The option list I had was incorrect. My bad for calling out Audi, I was wrong here.
