Curious if anyone has tried doing this to the standard HID kit, I'm currently in the process of purchasing all the necessary parts as I have been told it is possible as long as the car has the adaptive cruise control option and assistance package. Also looking to upgrade stock sound system to the b&o

I have already ordered the B&O kit, new roof liner for the rear 2 speakers that need to be installed on the roof and the 2 front pillar trims. i was told the dash is fine, Why does dash need to be replaced? I know that the b&o have the speakers that rise up from the front 2 grills is that the reason for it needing a different dash?

Matrix lights have also been ordered and will arrive next week.

Hi. I have been pondering the b&o upgrade. Do you have any further information on parts required and also where you sourced the parts from? I have factory Bose. Any idea on coding and how to get around component protection that may be required?

I have an installer I'll be sending the car to called euro car upgrades (jku.com.au) so im not 100 percent about the programming at this stage as that whole wiring scheme freaked me out. I sourced all my parts from a company called gtvgroup.lt , they have an ebay page under the seller name of gtv-group this is the item i contacted him on via ebay and he sourced all the parts and sent me a paypal invoice
    Audi Q7 2016 4M 3,0 TDI quattro *spare parts package* | eBay

The items say they will arrive on the 23rd so i will know for sure if his parts are any good

I have the standard sound system and was told by my installer i definitely need the wire loom as that itself could cost over a grand in connectors etc. I think your bose system comes with the rear 2 ceiling speakers so i don't think you need to order the roof liner like i have and also had to order the A and B front pillars to house the additional front facing speakers.

I'd suggest waiting before purchasing anything until i receive all the products just to make sure they are of good quality.

Awesome, I need the headliner as Bose doesn't have speakers. Euro car upgrades wanted 17500 for the complete install.. out of of interest, how much were the parts and what is euro car upgrades wanting for install? Martin quoted me this recently from jku.

Yeah he couldn't find a bno system at the time but estimated roughly over 10k just for the speakers and no wiring. For all the parts there i paid 2900euro so about 4.6k, he hasnt yet quoted me for the install until he can see all the parts

Thanks. Please if you don't mind, keep me updated. I would be interested in seeing the completed job. I assume you are in QLD somewhere? I'm in brisbane southside.

Im in sydney, I'll be getting the car towed up there and probably take a plane trip up to check on things. Will def keep you updated and show pics of items when they arrive. Im also waiting on martin to get back to me about the E-tron driving lights, i reckon they look pretty cool and want them installed all at the same time. Trying to toss up if its worth installing tv tuner...
