    Any idea on the part number for the 313ps bitdi dipstick?

    It Should be the same for all the 3.0 TDI on the a7?

    The MMI will also tell you if its overfilled. You should buy yourself one of those extractor vacuum pumps, if you ever over fill just suck a bit out through the dipstick tube.

    I changed my oil last week and drained out about 6.5 liters and it was was showing just under 3/4 full.

    I put in 6 liters let it run for a few mins, let the oil settle and check the levels and its just a tad below max now. easy job

    Not sure if the A7 employs the same system - but these guys (with an S5) get a warning:
