TP symbol on radio display. Need to turn off traffic reports

Hi Guys

Anyone know how to turn off the Traffic Reports on my VW Golf GT TDi 130 that has a factory fitted Sat Nav fitted.
I can't find out how to turn the TP symbol off on the display, (see image above bottom right on display screen) to prevent the annoying traffic reports coming through.
I think it is connected with TIM & TMC buttons on top left of radio.
The manual is no help, all it does is tell you how to record the reports.

All suggestions gladly received .

Silly question but did you try pressing the TIM and TMC buttons?

Yes I have tried every combination possible to try and remove it but no joy as of yet.
Have seen other posts with regard to this problem on earlier models and type and the non sat nav versions but everyone seem have the same problem.
As you can see from the picture I posted there is no specific TP button so I am somewhat stumped.
I'll keep trying unless anybody else knows the solution.
It's just a pain having to press FM to stop it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
