I have cracked and chipped rear light cluster main body of the car on the drivers side , tailgate part of the light is ok.

    1) would it be poss for someone to give me the part number please.

    2) if I buy one second hand , will component protection need to be removed ? (I guessing LIGHTS clusters don't have CP)

My car is pre facelift S-Line

    many thanks

There are a couple of variants available so you would be best doing either:

    1) Removing the tail light and looking at the part number on the label
    2) Going into Audi or anyone with up-to-date and legit ETKA to get the current number via your VIN as numbers may have changed since yours was produced

    Clusters do not have CP.

    chris many thx,

prior to me reading your post ,I put my VRN in the europarts website and with a discount code the price for the cluster is £110.00

Is it still best to to get the part number on the label and then ask europarts/TPS etc

whats the differance between the two variants?

    thanks

Don't always trust ECP, especially in cases where there are different types of one part.

You'd be best checking the part numbers in the methods above.

I think there are 4 options for the rear lights: RS6 which is avant- darkened, standard avant, halogen which is SE model and then the led version for S Line models. Have you checked ebay for one? Lots available and any with fine scratches can easily be polished out.
RS6 Performance Ascari Blue, Carbon Ceramics Brakes and lots more.

Yes but that's a copy part so there may be fitment/size/colour etc issues. Suggest you get a good quality used one for around £100 or so. Put in a part request from one the breaker link online and let them contact you
