Hello, been a while since I was on here. I currently own a 16 plate 5 door GTI. I have seen numerous pictures online with wheelspacers to make the wheels flush with the bodywork. This looks good in my opinion.

I was wondering if anyone has done this and if it would affect the arches, if I was to have a fully loaded car would they rub or bumps etc...

The car had not been lowered in anyway and run the normal GTI wheels.

I have seen various sizes for spacers and not too sure which ones would suit best.

    Thanks for reading.

There a long thread on the VWROC Forum, the max appears to be 16mm rear, 12mm front. For that they would need to be hubcentric. Some have reported rubbing but others find them OK
