had the car on the ramps today, i checked all the boost pipes and they seem ok, should the pipe get hard when the car is accellerated i could feel pressure in it but i could still squeeze it together, i also checked the actuator and that is moving freely is there anything else to check
also while under the car i found that the pipe from the manifold to the egr cooler as had a piece cut out of it with a blanking plate on the manifold so i checked deeper at the egr end and i thought there was a blanking plate on there but there isnt however the car was running ok for a few weeks with this gap in the pipework (with a judder) but it was running with no loss of power
