I have a 2006 golf 1.9tdi . The notification on the dash has reverse light and rear fog defective.
I have checked the wiring all thru especially thru the boot and all is fine. Therereverse switch on the gearbox hs been tested and is also fine. All fuses are intact .
There is no voltage present at either lamp holder when they are meant to be live.
    Any help ??

So you've checked continuity of the wiring between the power supply control unit/BCM and the lamps and it's all good?

BTW, there shouldn't be voltage at the lamp holders while there's a bulb failure warning notification shown on the dash....that's normal.
