Not enough to be happy with. £250. But they did collect it from the garage as it failed the MOT. If you've got space, it may be worth waiting to see if a diesel scrappage scheme comes on line.

So Crasher,,,,,as far as you are concerned, the trickle to abandon diesel will soon be a flood ? Have to start thinking ahead with next car, and factoring petrol models into the selection !!!

When people wake up to the fact that soon you will not be able to take a none EU6 compliant Diesel or EU4 petrol inside the M25 without paying a tenner per day T charge or into many other European Toxicity zones then the used car market for pre EU6 diesel and pre EU4 petrol engined vehicles is going to go into free fall, the knock on effect of this will be an enormous glut of scrap metal and subsequent collapse in the value of scrap metal AND the values of compliant cars will go up considerably, especially EU4> petrol engined cars as these came along in 2003 in some cases so will be more affordable.

Yeah I would have paid more too, stripping and selling for parts you'd have got double that easily.
