(S)Q7 MIB2 MMI Official Update - April 2017

Hi,
update status of my misadventure:
I have downlod and update conteiner odx with VCP.
Now i have only one error:
000663 (NO_DATA) Nessuna descrizione nel contenitore ODX (-)
I have alwais the same problem: no sound!
Can someone give me an aid?

Hello Pierocp,

Did you resolve your problem after the update? I am hesitating to update of the MMI MIB2 system after reading your problem.

no I have not solved the problem yet. I tried with vcp to download zdc file for re configuration module 47 sound system. The problem is that in conteiner there are many configurations and I do not know which one I have to use.... I'm continuing to try but still no sound and always the same error: 000663 (NO_DATA) Nessuna descrizione nel contenitore ODX (-).... if I solve I will warn you......

Sorry Piero, I'm not sure I'm afraid

How did you apply the update? Did you use ODIS or via "another method"

If you chose the latter then there are no-pre checks done to see if it could affect other modules in the system and that may be why you have lost sound (its a bit of guess that of course).

Whereas if you use ODIS to apply the update it will also update the Sound System (47), TV, DVD etc if you have these components installed as part of the process.

Hi Andy…
how are you? well resentful!
I have try to book an appointment with my dealer for update but it was not possible before January.
Not wanting to wait i have try to update manually update yourself with the hidden menu and the 4M0906961AF memory card.
Now i have the system with 0976.
Probaby during the update an error has happened and now i have the module 47 with this error:
000663 (NO_DATA) Nessuna descrizione nel contenitore ODX (-).
I have tray to uploaded the conteiner zdc ( BOSE_q7_4m0035223c ) but in In BOSE_q7_4m0035223c.zdc i find more configurations.
Not knowing them I do not know which one to use.
If you can please help me……

Hi everyone...
with upload the conteiner zdc i have solved the problem.... now my bose plant has started playing again! Fantastic.......
Now i have the system updated and everything working.
