    2009 q7 with sun roof.
Noticed under the carpet is wet.
    Was looking for bluetooth module.
I checked my water drains on sun roof by pooring water down them and comes straight out of pipes under car.
I checked air con drain boot.
    All good.
    What am I missing here.
I looked under bonnet as had sim problem on my audi a6
Under bonnet I had a small amount of leaves, i blown out with air line tipped water in each corner and even took both wheel arches out to look at drains.
    All water comes out here.
I even lifted carpet had house pipe all over car and can not see any leaks.
Blown away how such a expensive motor can be leaking fresh water.
Anybody got any better ideas than me as I clearly failed.

Have you checked the rear washer pipework.
Do you have 2 zone or 4 zone aircon (controls in back) have you checked all the aircon drains.

    Hi thanks gavin for yourtime.
No no aircon controls in back.
This Deffo normal water not screen wash or antifreeze.
Can only be sunroof or air con.
I gutted as this the most expensive motor I ever owned.
Can't believe it to be honest.

How many aircon drains is there?
I been in talks with main dealers today.
They said 2013 it had this problem and was air con evaporator.
I only checked one in passenger side.
I only checked pipe by using a syringe pump to see if water goes down.
    It did.
    Maybe it blocked inside heater.
    Ie before the pipe.

I believe there is only one drain for the aircon at the front.
There are drains either side in the front scuttles under the bonnet and i'm not sure if it is 4 or 6 drains for the sunroof but it seems the rears are the ones that leak.

Take it to a local indy Audi specialist. Where are you based - I'm sure people can recommend someone local to you.

    Bury St edmumds.
I just can't see what else anyone else can do to what I already done.
I'm wondering has this water just stayed there since end of 2013 as it went in to audi for the aircon drain blocked which flooded the carpet.
The carpet underlay is dead thick so is the rubber sound sensing.
    That's what's wet.
If audi back in 2013 only used a valeting machine like I got it wouldn't of got the water under the carpet.
I have tried everything to see this leak. It just won't leak with me.
Poured numerous of water down sunroof fire wall and no leak.
I going to look at aircon again to see if it actually dumps water on floor.
I only syringed water down tube to see if it comes out which it did.
I'm now wondering is it blocked inside heater.
