No Blower or Aircon

YouTube guy's stripdown video is 15 mins. So half hour including refit. But... In all honesty, it took me a couple of hours. A lot of that time was spent on the wipers. I didn't have a puller (do get one if you can) so removal was a pig. Then quite a bit of fannying around lining them up properly. Make sure you have all the tools ready and give yourself a good bit of time.

Before you remove the wipers put a strip of masking tape on the windscreen to aid realignment.

Ebay a wiper puller they are cheap.

Wiper arm 1 Whiskylad nil

The offside arm is corroded onto the splines and the tool bent before releasing the arm from the splines. It is now soaked in WD40 and a different style of puller ordered. Professional Car Battery Terminal Wiper Arm Remover Puller 6-28MM Repair Tool | eBay

Attempt no2 to commence next week.

Puller arrived yesterday so got the arm off this time. Got the old motor out no problem but had a bit of hassle getting the new one back into position, there's not a lot of access or room to see what you are doing. Good news is the blower is working again 😀

Yeah, it was a bit fiddly lining up the new one but personally I had more trouble with wipers. I didn't have a puller though. You recommend the new one you bought?

Can fully recommend the set I bought, nice and strong. The drivers side one was corroded onto the splines and it took a lot off pressure to persuade it to pop off.
Only near miss I had was that I started yesterday but had to go out and only got back to it today. It lashed rain overnight and the rain ran down the windscreen straight into the fan and motor area. Had to dry it all out with a towel and hairdryer to ensure there was no residual water lying about.
