Getting a scan done on the car this weekend, see a motor on ECP for 120 odd but there is a 30% off offer so its only 80 odd.

OK, I've gone for it and just ordered the aforementioned motor from ECP. Works out at 104 Inc. delivery.
A job for next weekend me thinks.

Make sure that you have a set of pullers or a wiper puller to get the wiper arms off.

When taking the scuttle off you need to be careful when prising out the lip from the windscreen trim, do it to quickly and you split the lip on the scuttle panel.

Clean the groove before refitting the scuttle panel.

check the wiring leading up to the blower

When you take the wiper blades nuts off, pull up the wiper arm off the windscreen and rock it back and fore. hold the arm near the nut end so you don't bend it !

whilst you have the chance, clear the drain holes in the scuttle area ...................... I just rip out the rubber drain holes as they clog up ................. there are two of them
