    Hi !
    So the issue is passat b6 2.0 tdi BMP when warm engine is shut down and started while still not cooled it starts badly, like starting to crank then suddenly stops turning and then starts with shudder for 2 sec. I believe its one or more injectors after engine is stopped still leak some amount of diesel in combustion chamber and when trying to start its hydrolocking until valves open.
    How its possible to test and find faulty injector/s ?

    Have you had a fault code read done? I personally feel it is not possible to correctly test these injectors, I have tried various people and had them say faulty and they prove not to be and OK when they aren't. If no fault codes come up, take off the cam cover and see what the injector part number is.

    Did code read some time ago and there was nothing, but will do it again maybe something pops up.
    You are right thats what I was told before about these injectors - they are not giving up for testing.

    I have a 2006 56 plate Passat with the same engine and there was a recall on injectors. Mine were all replaced for free. You might want to check with a local dealer to see if your car matches a recall. If it does you might just get them replaced for free. After all, injectors are not cheap!

    What would indicate diesel fuel going in to sump oil if level isnt rising, at least significantly ? When looking at oil level noticed it smells weird.

    You could do a basic viscosity check; get a sample of used suspect oil and same quantity of new oil, drop same ammount of oil from each sample onto a smooth inclined surface and see difference in how fast the samples run downhill. Or send a sample away for analysis, or get a set of Jungs falling spheres.
