    Hello All,

I recently acquired a 51 plate VW Bora.... all was well with the car until this morning... every single door worked correctly. The actual remote never worked, I have to put he key int he door and turn it...

This morning for some reason, when I turned the key to unlock the door, only the driver side door opened.. looking at the forums this is a common fault in Boras. The difference with my problem however is that, every single door opens if I go inside the car and manually open the door.

    So to recap...

1.) doors worked perfectly when opening closing using key and central locks..
2.) this morning turning the key only opens the driver side door on attempt one... trying again and again opens 3 doors but not the passenger side rear door.

Central lock doesn't work at all sometimes.. seems like a loose connection / intermittent problem to me.. however I'm sure people on here have seen this before and know exactly what is should do

    thanks AJ

If I lock my car from the tailgate by turning the key all the way to the right until it is horizontal, when I unlock from the drivers door only that door unlocks.

Normal operation can be regained by unlocking from the tailgate.

This is useful if drving alone in places where theives open the rear door or tailgate to steal from the interior when the car is stopped at lights.

I don't know if this is relevant to your car.

It would need to be VAG specific and the codes in to Connivance unit are not OBDII so VCDS, VAG CAN, ODIS etc
