Hi guys my Mrs 2013 Audi had the clutch and dmf replaced 10 months ago under warranty and 2 months ago it started to reappear. Car has gone to Audi today and they have said there are hot spots on both parts caused by riding the clutch! Neither of us have had a clutch replaced on any cars in a combined 23 years driving!! Just wondering where we stand or how we proceed with this? Surely this is a manufacturing design fault for it to fail after such a short time? Any help appreciated

I have a 2013 A6... which has had a clutch judder since c30k miles. Now at 58k miles and the judder rears its head intermittently. Potentially ambient temperature linked. I never dug in hard enough to get this dealt with under warranty. I am a careful driver with clutches and have in no way accentuated the issue/problem.

There is evidence in the forums that there is an (design?) issue with the clutch/DMF,s... I would badger the dealer that this issue; its not due to you driving style etc: How far in did the original clutch/DMF las for t? If it lasted well then you could use this as leverage that clutch wasn't abused... best of luck...

Mine had the clutch and DMF replaced at 30-odd K miles if I remember correctly.
It then had them replaced again 10k later as they were "faulty" according do my dealer.
Just out of warranty it started juddering again. They are crap.

One other thing. Audi MUST know about the issue as you cannot buy a DMF for this car on the open market anywhere.
