HI - first post... So I did a search & found only a few posts & they seem to be unrelated. I do apologise however if I had a "Mans look" & missed the obvious...

So my Son has a 2005 A4 B7 with the 2.0 4l 20v engine - to be honest "it could not pull the skin off of a rice pudding". I see that the 2.0L TFSI has remaps available etc & seems to be a much better engine.

Can anyone advise if
1) It is a straight forward swap from the 20v to the TFSI?
2) Has any one done this, & would be willing to help with advice?
3) Any sensible advice most appreciated

4) He is 16 & so purchasing another Car 2.0 TFSI is not a financial option for him. We have also spent time - fitting OEM CC retrofit, OEM MFS wheel, replaced the RNS J with Alpine ILX007 with Apple Carplay (Full MFS wheel connectivity), He has installed a custom Sub & Amp (Sounds a lot better than My 2011 R8 B&O system), R8 style rotor rims - so he has a found spot for this car.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts & advice
