Audi A4 2.0 tdi s line oil pump

Hi guys

New here. Just looking for some advice. I'm looking to buy an Audi A4 estate 2.0 tdi s line 07. I've read a lot about problems with oil pumps on the Audi A4 but I was wondering if the 07 model has this problem.
Did it get changed on this year?

Also the cvt gearbox. Are there any issues with this gearbox?

Is there anything else I should look out for?

77mm oil pump drive and cvt .

People keep saying the 07 oil pump is gear driven than chain driven though?

It will be gear driven so the failing chain tensioner is one less problem , but it still is the inferior 77mm set up .

Sorry for being really stupid but what do you mean by a 77mm setup? I'm not familiar with oil pumps. Never had a problem as I have 1.9 gt tdi golf at the moment. The only issues I've ever had is the thumping noise that is common in golf mk4s.

I'd get a B6 1.9 tdi or B8 2.0 tdi .
