    Default New Brake Discs... – 17-03-2017,09:30 PM
    Hi All.
    Ive just bought EBC Red stuff front an rear brake pads for my TT as they are getting low.
    Before i fit them i will check the discs for wear. If i need New discs, what are your thoughts on the different types of discs. Std(smooth face) Grooved, Drilled, Drilled an Grooved, Dimpled.
    I have had Grooved on my old A4 1.8T. The only difference was a strange feeling through the peddle if i stamped on hard on the ankors.
    What would you go with.....

    I think i will stick to std disc.
    Grooved/drilled discs will prob eat my New Red stuff pads and cover my wheels in brake dust more often.

    Plain, anything else makes a noise that'll make you wish you went with plain the first time round.
