I have a sharan 2005 /55 PLATE 1.9 tdi manual gear box 130bhp part of my vin is 7MZ5 does this mean that 7M8 Will not fit .how can i be sure if i am getting the right part as i am buying online the clutch as to be taken out by a garage ,the problem i got local prices for these clutches are expensive you can get a full kit for £355 which i would consider good if the parts are genuine.

you have to find out the maker of the parts

you may find Ford, VW and indeed going to Skoda or TPS ( trade part specialist) are cheaper

theres also Euro car parts which gives you nearly 30% discount codes

Do a bit of research on clutch manufactors. Buying from these above will give you a refund opportunity if required

Did you ask the garage what make they would fit ?

Going by this website, its if you have a central slave cylinder or no release in the difference

If the slave cylinder is in the bellhousing, then I strongly recommend you change this at the same time
