Depends what trim colour / level you have to determine part number. What do you have?

Wiring is not present no. As a general rule of thumb no wiring is ever present for anything that didn't come with car from factory. It must all be added.

In the case of this one, it's 5 wires.

    Cheers

3.0 S-Line 272, I've got the black leather but not the extended leather package. He finish is the brushed silver with the dark grey.

    Is a special cable/connector required?

You'll need a connector for the button module yeah. It's a 5 pin connector. You'll also need some pins for the other ends of the wires which go into the connector block on the door controller.

Brushed aluminium for the top bit of the trim?

I'd be interested in that too if anyone who has done it before wants to earn a few pounds more? I know I could try myself, but from past experience of trying "easy mods ", I know already that it wouldn't end well!

Looking at your pics up above Andy, did you go from silver trim to black trim, when you fitted this?

No mate. Exactly same original brushed aluminium. Direct swap.

Hi Andy, i need your help.

I've successfully retroffited the Memory Button on the Drivers Side, the Seats work, and also the Passenger Mirror, but i can't get the Drivers Mirror working, is there any special coding needed for this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Andy,

I am thinking about doing this mod. So for the parts for the trim inlays and button is it better (cheaper) to get them from eBay, order them from the dealer or perhaps another third party?

I have VCDS so should be able to do the coding but just need the parts.

In hindsight I should have specced as my wife has a completely different seat position to me. She is 5ft2 and I am 5ft11.

Thanks in advance as ever 🙂
