    Hi All,
Have you already tried replacing the stock air filter by a K&N one ?
If so, any improvement noticed ?

I have one fitted, have not felt a huuuge difference. It is noticeably more responsive on the throttle. What engine is yours??

If it's a diesel absolutely no point at all as you will have an abundance of air. Most performance filters aren't as good at protecting your engine as the OEM one so I'd personally just replace that more often.

I have a RS6 airbox and K N filter attached to my BITDI. Part of an ongoing Stage 3 power upgrade to 460 bhp and 900 nm torque.
Involves addition of Wagner competition intercooler and final engine tune.

All parts are straight fit off the shelf no physical mods to the OEM parts at all.
    Apart from the tune itself.
The part number of the K&N air filter is: E-1983 (audi S6 or A6 3.0tfsi) £65
    The airbox is from a RS6 (part number 4G0 133 836 AF). £170
And the wagner competition Intercooler for an 3.0 tdi Biturbo 313HP. approx £770

Interesting.... Any noticeable change by adding the RS6 air box as its using the same filter as the TDi would.

Hard to say. Nothing dramatic to note.
