C6 2.0TDI SLine Facelift - Heater on / off intermittently - with VCDS log.

Could anyone assist please?
I have a 2.0TDI SLINE LeMans Facelift.
Firstly... the engine feels a little lumpy on tick over - it did this before I had the aircon regassed... but...
After 25mins the heater(when on windscreen demist) turns off, and comes back on when it feels like it... sometimes for 1 second, maybe a couple of minutes... - no matter what I set the temperature to.

G395 (pressure/temp sensor) has lots of faults showing. There is a 2010 TSB out there which confesses many of the G395s leak refrigerant and need to be replaced. Look for 2020124/2, which seems to link with your recent regas of the system. Otherwise a harness fault / simple loose plug may be the answer. 4F0 959 126C is the new part number in the bulletin.

My heater would do this intermittent thing and then decided to work with the main engine fan running in '2nd' gear constantly

Thanks Guys.. Sam16 .. my fan is on full too.. so i will fit another pressure sensor this weekend... i do have to to hand.. easy job too apparently.

Easy once u get to the sensor yes. Have to pull the bonnet forward to access unless u have teany tiny hands 😉
