Hi, can anyone please help me with an air conditioningproblem on my late 2008 A6 3.0ltr TDI all road.
    After scanning the fault coads I get :00256 - A/CPressure/Temperature Sensor (G395)
    008 - ImplausibleSignal:
which I think I've traced to the G395 pressure/teperature sender. On checking the signal to pin 3 on the
plug there is no voltage. Pin 1 earth is fine, pin 2 is theoutput signal which I can’t check until I get a feed.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated. G395 sensor.jpg

If that isn't the issue replace the sensor.

Thanks but the sensor isn't the problem, the problem is there is no power to it, pin 3 of the connector supply's the feed but its dead.

The feed comes from the fuse are you getting power at the fuse?

You need to check the green connector in the coupling station in the bottom of the left hand side A pillar on pin 14 a green and red wire.

If the feed is there then you have a broken wire between there and the sensor plug (most likey cause will be the wire has corroded off the pin).

If the feed is not there then you have break between the A pillar connector to the fuse (this is unlikey but can't be ruled out).

Post your engine code and gearbox code as this helps.

Just to add fellas, my Audi for a while has reported back an intermittent signal when I did a scan on VCDS ( to clear a fault once I replaced a parking sensor ).

After buying a new updated part on Ebay ( 4HO 959 126B for £35 delivered ), I managed to get it out & fit a new one without removing the poxy bumper...

A bit of wiggling had it out.... anyhow, after looking at the old part, it's obvious that the old steel jacketed case suffers from corrosion, mine had actually split at the bottom ( well out of sight ), such that water had got into it...

Once I fitted a new O ring, reconnected, all faults cleared & voila, ice cold A/C again

For info, the failed original part ( done 51k on my car at present ), see below ( you can see the split outer crimped casing in the top of the pic )

    Cheers !
